Karaoke Queue is operated by Matt Morgan. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data. We keep things simple — we collect only what we need to run the service.
Information we collect
DJ accounts
When you create an account as a DJ, we collect your email address, an optional display name, and a hashed password managed by Supabase Auth. We also store your session history and song request data associated with your account.
Singers (no account required)
Singers join sessions without creating an account. We temporarily store the singer name and song title you submit as part of a session queue. This data is tied to the session, not to any personal profile.
Payment information
If you purchase tokens, payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your credit card details — only a record of the transaction (amount, date, and your account ID) is stored on our end.
Contact form
If you contact us via the contact form, we receive your name, email, and message. This is sent to our inbox and not stored in the database.
How we use your information

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not share your data with third parties except as described below.
Third-party services
Supabase — Handles authentication and hosts our database. Your account data is stored on Supabase infrastructure.
Stripe — Processes payments for token purchases. Stripe has its own privacy policy.
Umami Analytics — We use Umami for anonymous page-view analytics. Umami does not use cookies and does not collect any personally identifiable information.
Email communication
When you create a DJ account, we send a single welcome email from karaoke.queue@gmail.com. We do not send marketing newsletters or promotional emails. If you'd prefer not to receive any emails from us, reply to the welcome email and we'll remove you immediately.
Data retention
Your account data is kept for as long as your account is active. Session and queue data is retained indefinitely to support your session history, but contains no sensitive personal information beyond singer names entered during a session.
Your rights
You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing karaoke.queue@gmail.com. If you are located in the EU or UK, you also have the right to access, correct, or port your data. Contact us at the same address for any such requests.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Karaoke Queue after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
